Romantic stay in the vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape
The Cabanes des Grands Cépages estate spans several tens of hectares of preserved nature. Here, there's no direct view into other cabins, no neighbor noise: each couple experiences their stay as if the place belonged to them.

Provence from a different perspective: from the water, amidst the vineyards
Some getaways are talked about for months afterwards. Cabanes des Grands Cépages have that power!
Nestled on the turquoise waters of Lac de la Lionne, in the heart of the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard, twenty minutes from Avignon, they create a setting that Provence seems to have designed especially for lovers: the light of Vaucluse, the silence of the vineyards, the lapping of the water beneath the terrace. And just the two of you, for everything else.
A timeless estate in the heart of the vineyard
The estate spans dozens of hectares of unspoiled nature. Here, no cabins facing each other, no noise from neighbours: each couple experiences their stay as if the place belonged to them.
The cabins are discreetly integrated into the landscape, designed by Italian architect Marco Lavit to blend seamlessly into their surroundings: large openings to let in light, natural materials, an architecture that is both minimalist and warm. Contemporary Mediterranean style, understated.
Surrounding them: the rows of Châteauneuf-du-Pape vines, one of France's most iconic vineyards. In the background, the abundant beauty of Provence: the scents, the colours, that slower pace of life that feels so good as soon as you set foot there.
Three ways to experience this getaway for two
The floating cabins
Directly on the lake, connected by a pontoon or accessible by boat. In the morning, the sun reflects on the water, light streams in through the large bay windows. For those who want total immersion, literally.
The stilt cabins
Raised above the water, with a private terrace, heated Nordic bath and a suspended net above the lake. The cabin Spa Essentielle is designed as a true cocoon for two: bright living room, bedroom with a view of Lac de la Lionne, well-appointed bathroom. A setting designed for slowing down, together.
The vegetated cabins
Nestled in the vegetation, they offer total immersion in Provençal nature. The cabin Lavender, with its plant-covered facade and pond view, has something unreal about it: a kind of Provençal hobbit house, only more romantic.
The romantic experience, from A to Z
A romantic stay at Cabanes des Grands Cépages looks like this:
On the evening of arrival, you uncork a bottle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape (you're literally in the vineyards, it would be a shame to miss out!) from your cabin's terrace, with your feet dangling over the water. The Nordic bath gently heats up. The sun sets over the Vaucluse...
The next morning, a breakfast full of local products is delivered to your cabin. With the Provençal pace of life, there's no need to be presentable before 10 AM!
During the day, the estate offers gourmet baskets filled with regional specialties, on-site couple's massages, bike rides through the vineyards, and tastings at local Châteauneuf-du-Pape producers. You can choose, or choose nothing at all. Both are perfectly fine.
In the evening, the unheated pool for summer days, the Nordic bath for the rest of the year... And the Provençal night, which truly delivers with its stars.
Romantic packages are available to celebrate special occasions: birthdays, marriage proposals, or simply the desire to treat yourselves.
