GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to stays taking place during the 2027 season. For stays taking place in 2026, the previous General Terms and Conditions of Sale remain applicable and are available upon request from the reservations department.

By accepting these general terms and conditions of sale, I acknowledge that my stay takes place in the heart of nature, with the inherent unpredictability that this entails: variable weather, the presence of insects, birds, and mammals near the cabins, and the possibility of encountering them inside as well.

Your stay will take place in the heart of a natural estate. When moving around and walking, we ask that you respect the tranquility of the site. Upon your arrival, we will provide you with a map of the estate showing access routes and pedestrian paths. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

During your stay, we ask that you follow all safety instructions as explained to you by our reception team.

I – Cabin stays

1. Booking

You can make your reservation:

No right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 221-28, 12° of the French Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency.

2. Payments

Bookings must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the arrival date. For bookings made less than 15 days before the arrival date, immediate payment by credit card or bank transfer is required, accompanied by proof of payment.

a) Payment by credit card

For bookings made through our online booking system with secure credit card payment, the full amount of the stay will be charged and your booking will be confirmed.

b) Payment by other methods

For bookings paid by cheque, holiday vouchers, or bank transfer, the booking is held for a maximum of 15 days while awaiting payment, provided this does not exceed the 7-day deadline before arrival. Receipt of payment within the specified timeframe will confirm the booking. Otherwise, the booking option may be released.

3. Accepted payment methods

- Credit card: Mastercard and Visa.

- Cash (to be paid on-site at the estate reception prior to your stay)

- Bank transfer: Sort code: 12506 70012 56526755060 32 – IBAN: FR76 1250 6700 1256 5267 5506 032 – BIC: AGRIFRPP825 – The full amount must be paid into our bank account; any transfer fees are your responsibility.

- Bank or postal cheque, made payable to Cabanes des Grands Cépages (French accounts only).

- ANCV holiday vouchers (paper and digital). Please note that for legal reasons, we cannot refund holiday vouchers. If our general terms and conditions allow, we may instead reschedule your stay to a different date.

- Coucoo Cabane gift vouchers, under the conditions set out in Part II of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Modifying or cancelling your booking

When booking a stay at the Classic Rate, you have the option to add a Zen Option for €25 per booking. This option provides more favorable modification and cancellation terms than those of the Classic Rate, within the limits and according to the procedures detailed below.

When a stay has been booked using a gift voucher, the Zen Option only allows for the modification conditions provided for by this option. It does not allow for a cash refund of the gift voucher.

Any request for modification or cancellation must be sent in writing to reservation@cabanesdesgrandscepages.com. The booking number must be indicated in the email subject line.

In the event of personal circumstances preventing the client from attending, including health, family, or professional reasons, the conditions set out below remain applicable. We recommend that the client purchase cancellation insurance suited to their situation if they wish.

a) Cancellation before your stay, by you

Additional services booked in conjunction with the accommodation may be subject to specific cancellation conditions when stated in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale or at the time of booking. These specific conditions take precedence for the services concerned.

b) Modification before your stay, by you

In the event of a change to a stay of a higher value, the price difference remains the responsibility of the client.

In the event of a change to a stay of a lower value, the difference remains the property of Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages, regardless of the rate chosen, but it may be used to purchase one or more additional services depending on the amount.

A single booking may only be rescheduled once, regardless of the rate chosen. Any stay that has been rescheduled at the client's request cannot be rescheduled again, nor can it be cancelled for a refund, subject to applicable legal provisions.

c) Modification or cancellation of your stay BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL by Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages

In the event of an Orange weather alert involving external events beyond our control, such as severe weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your stay for safety reasons. In such cases, we will offer to reschedule your cabin stay to a later date within 12 months of the originally scheduled date. If you have already left your home, we will offer to re-accommodate you in another type of lodging at no extra cost. Only in this specific case will you receive a 50% discount on a future equivalent cabin stay within 12 months of the originally scheduled date.

If none of these options are satisfactory to you, all sums paid will be refunded; no other compensation may be claimed.

If your booking was made using a gift voucher, the provisions set out in Part II of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall apply.

d) Modification or cancellation of your stay ON-SITE by Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages

In the event of an Orange weather alert involving external events beyond our control, such as severe weather, storms, or thunderstorms, management reserves the right to cancel your night in the cabin for safety reasons. You will be offered re-accommodation in another type of lodging based on availability and at no extra cost. Only in this specific case will you receive a 50% discount on a future equivalent cabin stay within 12 months of the originally scheduled date. No other compensation may be claimed. Only if we are unable to provide a re-accommodation solution will all sums paid be refunded or a date change offered, to be used within 12 months of the originally scheduled date.

e) Modification or cancellation of your stay ON-SITE by you

In the event that you refuse to access your cabin (due to fear, vertigo, etc.), no compensation, discount, or refund may be claimed.

5. Security Deposit

Please be advised that due to a significant number of thefts in the cabins over recent seasons, we have implemented a security deposit system. Upon your arrival, you will be asked for a credit card pre-authorization of €150.
This pre-authorization does not result in an immediate charge to your account and will be automatically cancelled after your stay, except in the event of damages or unpaid balances.

However, we reserve the right to charge all or part of this security deposit in the following cases:

• discovery of damage or breakage in the accommodation,
• loss of items or furniture,
• services consumed on-site and not paid for at the time of departure.

In the event of a charge, the amount deducted will correspond to:

• either the actual cost of repair or replacement, upon presentation of supporting documents (invoices, photos),
• either the exact amount of the unpaid services.

The bank card pre-authorization is valid for the duration set by our payment provider (generally 7 to 30 days). If damage or an unpaid balance is discovered after this period, we will contact you to obtain your agreement for payment.

Please note that some of the items in the cabin are available for sale in our reception shop if you wish to take home a souvenir of your stay. For those that are not for sale, we would be happy to tell you where you can purchase them whenever possible. Thank you for your understanding.

6. Capacity

The number of people mentioned (including children) per cabin in our rates corresponds to the maximum occupancy allowed based on the available equipment. This cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. If the number of people allowed in the chosen accommodation is exceeded, access may be refused.

7. Rates

Our rates include all taxes. Only the rates shown on our website are valid. These rates vary according to the season. A tourist tax may be added to this price.

8. Children

Children's ages are calculated based on their date of birth and the start date of the stay. An official document verifying the children's ages may be requested at the start of the stay. Family cabins can accommodate children of all ages. Duo cabins accept children from 12 years old.

9. Special conditions

Some cabins have specific access constraints, particularly regarding their height, the presence of a ladder, or the physical effort required to reach them. If in doubt, guests are encouraged to inquire before booking.

10. Pets

All cabins except Parenthèse, Aquarelle, Elixir, and Utopie can now accommodate a dog for a supplement of €25 per night, payable on-site. The service includes a treat and waste bags, as well as the loan of bowls and a mat upon request. In the event of damage during your stay, additional fees may be deducted from the security deposit. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the estate. Dogs are not permitted in the Elixir, Aquarelle, Parenthèse, and Utopie cabins. Other animals are not allowed in the cabins or on the estate.

11. Valuables

Guests are advised not to leave valuables unattended in their cabin. The liability of Cabanes des Grands Cépages in the event of theft or damage is governed by applicable legal provisions.

12. Alcohol and cigarette consumption

It is strictly forbidden to be in a state of intoxication in the cabins or on the estate. Smoking is prohibited inside the cabins. All our cabins are equipped with terraces where you are permitted to smoke, provided that no cigarette butts are left in nature.‍

13. Massage services

For our massage services, we work with massage therapists who are external to our estate. It is therefore mandatory to pay at least 50% of these services at the time of booking to confirm your massage and your practitioner. In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before the date of your stay, we will retain 50% of the massage service amount.

14. External service providers

It is not permitted to bring in an external service provider to your cabin or the estate (photographer, decorator, event agency, etc.) without authorization from the Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages team. If you require an external service provider, you may contact us at reservation@cabanesdesgrandscepages.com and we can review your request together.

15. Complaints

The client is invited to submit any complaint regarding their stay as soon as possible, and if possible within 30 days following the end of the stay, either by email to reservation@cabanesdesgrandscepages.com or by mail to the address below, to ensure it is handled under the best conditions:

16. Mediation and dispute resolution

In the event of a complaint, the client is invited to first contact Les Cabanes des Grands Chênes to seek an amicable solution.

In the absence of an amicable resolution, the consumer may refer the matter to one of the territorially competent courts in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code and the Code of Civil Procedure.

II – Gift vouchers

Gift voucher = a specific service. For example, 1 night in a duo spa cabin with breakfast basket included for 2 people.

Gift cheque = a monetary value in euros. For example, a €200 gift cheque.

1. Purchasing a gift voucher

a) Gift voucher validity

Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to a rate increase will be charged during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.

As our cabins are very popular on weekends, we recommend that you advise the gift voucher recipient to book their cabin between 6 months and 1 year before their intended stay.

b) Right of withdrawal for a gift voucher

A 14-day period following the date of your gift voucher order on our website is granted regardless of the payment method, provided the gift voucher has not already been used to book a stay. After these 14 days, no refunds will be possible.

2. Booking with a gift voucher

Our gift vouchers are valid for 3 years. When used at Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages for the service corresponding to the purchased gift voucher, no price difference due to a rate increase will be charged during its validity period. If used at another Coucoo Cabanes location or for a service different from or superior to the one initially purchased, an additional payment may be required.

When booking their stay, the recipient of a gift voucher may choose to add the €25 Zen Option, just as with a standard booking. In this case, it only allows the holder to benefit from the specified modification conditions (see I – 4.b). It does not allow for a cash refund of the gift voucher.

a) Cancellation before your stay:

Our gift vouchers cannot be cancelled or refunded, including in the event of personal circumstances (health, family, professional) or any other situation beyond our control. The recipient retains the option to change the date of their stay according to the terms described below. We recommend that they purchase cancellation insurance suited to their situation if they wish.

b) Modification before your stay:

The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, depending on whether or not the Zen Option was added to the booking, provided you adhere to the validity date of the gift voucher (see II – 1.a).

c) Modification or cancellation of a stay by Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL

The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), provided you adhere to the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).

d) Modification or cancellation of a stay by Les Cabanes des Grands Cépages ON-SITE

The same conditions as for a standard booking apply (excluding refunds), provided you adhere to the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).

e) Modification or cancellation of a stay by you ON-SITE

The same conditions as for a standard booking apply, provided you adhere to the validity date of your gift voucher (see II – 1.a).

3. Purchasing and booking with a gift card

Gift cards are subject to the same terms of sale and use as gift vouchers. They are valid for 3 years and can be used at all Coucoo Cabanes locations, but they cannot be cancelled or refunded after the 14-day cooling-off period.

If the cost of the stay is less than the value of the gift voucher, the remaining balance can be used for another booking, provided it is within the gift voucher's original validity period. If the cost of the stay exceeds the value available on the gift voucher, the recipient must pay the difference using one of the accepted payment methods.
