What is the European Ecolabel? 🌍

It is the only official environmental certification recognized throughout the European Union. Awarded based on rigorous criteria Who assess the environmental impact throughout the life cycle of a product or a service, it guarantees that our practices are truly sustainable.

At Coucoo Cabanes, we don't make light promises. This label, managed by ADEME And the Ministry of Ecological Transition, confirms that our actions make sense, and above all, that they are verifiable and measurable.

Why did we choose to embark on this process?

Because our desire is twofold:

Since our beginnings in 2009, we have paid particular attention to our environmental footprint. Obtaining the European Ecolabel was an opportunity to reinforce our commitments:

• Selective sorting in all cabins
• Refillable, plastic-free products
• Composting of bio-waste
• Filter water fountain

• Organic and local products in the baskets

• No thermal vehicles on the estate

Our 3 flagship actions: a few figures 🔎

68.4 MWh of self-produced energy from the 1st month:
Thanks to the installation of solar panels, we covered 66% of the estate's electricity consumption as of July 2024.

— 50% consumption on hot tubs:
Installing heat pumps makes it possible to halve the energy needed to heat our baths that are equipped with them.

— 50% on cabin air conditioning:
Thermal films placed on the windows have halved the consumption associated with air conditioning.
